As followers of Jesus, we seek to love our neighbours and help those in need.  Our outreach activities involve helping others where we can, through practical help or fundraising.  This page highlights current and past projects and gives information on how you too can get involved.

Ribbons of Prayer

What began in the Covid lockdown has become a much loved way of praying.  By simply taking a ribbon and prayerfully tying it to the church railings, we have a beautiful vision of the prayers of those who visit the church, the park, or simply pass by.

Thanks to the talents of Celia and her friends, we have also been able to offer ceramic hearts for people to write the names of loved ones and tie them to the railings.

Ribbons of Prayer is open to everyone.  You can find ribbons and pens inside the church gates on Park Avenue South.  Take a coloured ribbon from the box, hold it in your hands as you pray, and tie it onto the raiilings.

Baby Basics - 10th anniversary - 2023

In 2023 we challenged ourselves to collect enough items needed by Baby Basics to fill 3 Moses Baskets.  Thanks to the generosity of the community, we delivered far more!  From beautiful, hand-knitted clothes and blankets, to nappies, toiletries, and treats for Mum, it was a priviledge to support the important work of Baby Basics, who provide essentials to newborn babies and their Mums who are in need.

We continue to collect items for Baby Basics and you can drop off donations at any of our church services.
